TOMATO PASTE

DEFINITION
Produce of the concentration of tomato juice obtained by fresh – round tomatoes, well ripe, having red sharp colour, from suitable varieties, free from skin and seeds, duly chopped, pulped and refined. Produce exclusively from fresh tomatoes during the tomato season only.
GENERAL FEATURES
Raw material shall be prepared, processed, packed and transported under best technical and sanitary environment.
Final product shall be homogeneous, free from pesticides traces, free from any kind of additives, chemicals, preservatives and added colouring matter of any type. Free from added NaCl (salt).
Raw material shall be free from on going disease, insects and parasites contamination, deteriorations due to ground, sand, foreign matters of any nature.
Typical preservation guaranteed life shall be two years.
PRODUCTION NORMS
The entire production cycle shall be carried out under the highest degree of sanitary environment. The entire production cycle shall be carried on according to the state of the art technology fully under management control and supervision.
